Entry/Mudroom/Music Room Addition & Kitchen Renovation
The expanding young family in this 1938 historic home previously renovated the attic space into a master suite shed dormer. The next expansion was to create a mud entry off the driveway, cubby storage and bench, and a music room connected to the kitchen and dining room. Playful interplay between the spaces were introduced: a pass through above and below the kitchen “window” to the music room and adherence to the period style arches framed the transitions from the original space to the new rooms.
