This dilapidated historic building is reborn to become a cozy café, bakery and charcuterie. The dedicated owner of this historic building saw through the degenerated state of this structure and had a vision to completely renovate and update the structure and rear courtyard and bring the past back to life. Converting this site into a restaurant and designing to restore it from historical photographs provided many challenges, yet also remained a wonderful opportunity to renovate yet another wonderful building of our historic past. This project was awarded the 2009 City of Ashland Historic Preservation Award for a historically compatible new commercial structure.

Following through from the beginning with ‘As Built’ drawings to the completion of the final ‘walk thru’ we are dedicated to helping and achieving the clients’ goals and visions.
